Poem – My Divinity

My Divinity

For as this day I lived, there was only one I loved

She gave me all she could, despite the pain I gave

Her eyes glimmer like gold, like beautiful chocolate pearls

Her lips just so soft, like untouched baby’s palms

And just like her beautiful exterior, Her soul is even more so pure

She cared for those close at heart, even after such dark treacherous arts

And like a chance of none, I won the chance to give her love

And loved and loved and loved we did, for many a day and many a night

Created life was our escape, from the cruels unescapable fate

The life we made also pure, she is resemblance of her carrier

The women aforementioned always gave her all, despite the darkened roads befall

Regardless of what her future brought. Needn’t not fear as she was taught

She will always carry on, and she’d do it with such gracious style.

To Kayla,

With Love.
