Poem – It’s Calling Out

I hear you once again,
Beckoning from within

Your absence has been magical,

Albeit just temporary

Your bellows all sound the same,

As well as your serenading

Although I don’t wish to hear you,

It’s always just so enticing

Do you want me to fall to my knees?

To just beg it all away

For you only call for the end,

And you make it feel that’s the only way

The pain is enough and I just want it to stop,

But you bring it back without any hesitation

Can you give me peace from my hell,

Without confusing hell and existence?

As we have done this same dance

For too long now

My eyes fixated along with my mind

Your requests are horrifyingly

Yet so satisfying

This is the pain that you throw upon me,

Like casting me into Sodom and Gomorrah.

You have to let me go,

Please just let me go

As you may enjoy your sights,

In reality you’re just killing me.
